Vitcas heatproof mortar is specially formulated to minimise setting out of the tub and its fine texture ensures smoke and gas-tight joints. In normal use 10Kg will set approximately 40 standard fire bricks.
Ideal for setting firebricks and insulating material, setting firebricks in room heaters and building out boiler areas.
Not for outdoor use.
Application:
All surface to which Vitcas Heatproof Mortar is to be applied should be clean and free from grease, dust and dirt.
Stir contents of tub thoroughly before use.
Apply with a trowel making sure are areas to be joined are totally covered with a thin bed of Vitcas Heat Proof Mortar.
Do not mix any other material with Heatproof mortar.
Thoroughly clean tool immediately with water after use.
Drying and hardening will be helped by the application of gentle heat as soon as the work is completed.
