Klinger K49 PTFE Graphite Gland Packing

Klinger K49 is a high performance, multiservice compression packing from the Klinger TopLine range, manufactured using the Klingerlock braiding process from Gore™ GFO® PTFE filaments specially treated to incorporate a graphite based lubricant. The result is a clean, low-friction packing that is virtually resistant to all media including strong acids and alkalis, and which rapidly disperses heat due to its graphite infusion.

K49 requires only minimal gland loading to effect a seal and offers excellent sealing life across a very wide range of valve and pump applications. It holds WRAS approval for use in potable water applications and its wide service capabilities make it an ideal choice for reducing the variety of packings held in stock. Available in a range of sizes and roll lengths to suit most gland requirements.
