Klinger K46 Carbon Fibre Gland Packing — 8m Rolls

Klinger K46 is a high performance, carbon fibre based multiservice gland packing from the Klinger TopLine range — an optimised selection of compression packings developed to provide effective and trouble-free sealing in today's most demanding valve and pump applications. The carbon fibre yarn is impregnated with mineral oil and graphite, combining good thermal conductivity and low friction with very good chemical resistance across the full pH range of 0–14.

K46 resists virtually all media over an extensive range of pressures and temperatures and is only affected by the presence of powerful oxidisers. It is an economical alternative to pure graphite packings while delivering reliable sealing performance in both dynamic and static applications. Although frequently used on its own, K46 can also form part of a specialised composite set in conjunction with Klinger 3222 packing or Klinger 35 die-formed rings, where it acts as both supporting anti-extrusion rings and wiper rings.
